Thanks!

Thanks a lot that’s great to know
Got the replacement caps, next question does anyone know how they are attached? Glue, clips?
Is there any way to make all the headlight washer jets stand proud whilst not operating so I can investigate?
Thanks
Cap is clip on only.
In order to lift the nozzles without wearing goggles and a snorkel disconnect hose from large pump and operate with air pressure. It will take a bit of pressure to lift them up and of course initially there will be water spraying about.
Normally you would not need to lift them for installation, is necessary only if you plan to remove a cap since they need to be forced to come off.

Thanks again Reinhard. Much appreciated
Sorry to keep pestering, I am asking on behalf of my dad as the car is in the UK and I live abroad. He is saying there doesn't

seem an obvious way to clip these on? Do they just press on or is there a clip part missing?
Thanks
OK, I see it now. Another bit is missing.
Here is the schematic:

"Cover" 16 is already in your hands, clips on "covering cap" 15 which again is a small plastic piece screwed onto a thread in jet 12 (flat blade). It seems likely now that the assy "covering cap/cover" has come off either accidentally or on purpose by someone dialling it off. Minor height difference between front mask and "cover" can be fine tuned by part 15 but essentially leaves it vulnerable against unwanted removal.
I won´t tell you how much cover 15 costs. It is also a wee bit overpriced and coins will not be enough.... Maybe ask a breaker or on Facebook "Jay Patel"?
Cheers

Thanks again, the cover was just noticed to be gone after going out for a drive so am assuming it just came off on its own.
So part 15 cant be purchased from BMW? Cost shouldn't be an issue, I just want it fixed. Cant be that pricey surely?
Part 15 is still available. Cost here for 61671383982 is 13 EUR incl. taxes which, well, may be considered rather steep for a piece looking no more than 9Ct to produce.
Cheers
Reinhard
