Regarding those Alpina's
Gerry, for future reference I actually prefer the graphite effect....
It takes many many miles of fun driving to get them looking like that !

Spotted... 8's
Saw a Red 840 (Ci maybe?) this weekend just by Junct 4 M3 (Fleet), but not seen one for a long time.
Mine's on the road every day, rain or shine, hence it's a bit like triggers broom.
She has regular visits to Gerry for the odd tweak here and there, so should be good for a while more.
Keep your eyes out for a Silver CSi with Alpina rims, round Camberley way.
Great Newsletter....
Makes good reading, thanks.

CSi In France.....CSi En France.....
Hi,
Thanks.
Yes, I have a share in a Doral, very similar to your Bavaria, just a bit older.
Great fun in the summer, we use it mainly out of Southampton, on the South coast.

Zeemax parts on Ebay ????
Hi,
Just heard back from them, they are an Authorised Outlet for Zeemax, but they are not seconds.
Regarding my front end, yes it's the CSi Sport spoiler, but it's been repaired several times over it's life and is getting a bit difficult to keep repairing.
I think I need a new one, one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg from BMW.
Zeemax parts on Ebay ????
Thanks all, I've sent a question via Ebay to ask whether they are original or not, we'll see.......
Dave.
Hi,
Just wondered whether anyone knows whether these parts on ebay are genuine Zeemax?

HID Kits + Legal or Not?
Thanks for the feedback, has anyone have them in when going for an MOT, were there any problems or did they go through OK?
Hi,
Has anyone had any problems with HID conversion on their 8, Police, MOT etc?
An interesting article (2006) on the Government web site starts....
In the Department's view it is not legal to sell or use after market HID lighting kits, for converting conventional Halogen headlamps to HID Xenon.
And finishes with....
In summary it is not permitted to convert an existing halogen headlamp unit for use with HID bulbs. The entire headlamp unit must be replaced with one designed and approved for use with HID bulbs and it must be installed in accordance with the rules stated above.
Full article dated 2006 can be found below.

CSi Parts Needed - Broken Front Bumper
Camberley, J4 , M3, no too far from Gerry!
I've just booked her in my local Coachworks to get it repaired and strengthened.
A fraction of the cost and they'll do a good job, I've used them before so I know what I'll get for my money.
I'd have liked to get a new one on, but there's a credit crunch on at the moment!
