Wider Tyres - AHK -CSi
I have the Alpina rims and tyres on mine, there with no rubbing whatsoever. Even when pushing it a bit hard on fun days out
I read somewhere they switched it off completely.

Le Mans 2008
Hi, Bonjour!
That's as far as my french goes I'm afraid.
I took my 8 this year, I tried to get some on this forum to go without much success.
I met a guy from France in a Black CSi, great bloke, Does anyone in France know him, I've got some good pictures of our cars thast he might want a copy of.
Anyway I'm off again next year, camping a Tetre Rouge, if anyone form the UK or France wants to hook up let me know. There is a group of us going you could join us, no problem.
Clarkson vs. the CSi.
Very old but worth seeing again, just for laughs....
Hi,
Saw this on ebay, anyone know anything about them?
They look like similar to the Dinan upgrade but obviously aren't.
Also does anyone have any experience (good or bad) of any of the other
so-called chip upgrades that can be found on the net?
Best tyres for an 8
Hi,
I have Alpina rims on the following tyres...
Michelin Pilot Sport...
Rear: 285/335 ZR18 97Y
Front: 245/40 ZR18 97Y
Handling is fine on my CSi, others might have some input but you might consider a suspension upgrade at the same time to tighten everything up.
Honest Comments Please
Blimey, well the post is titled "honest comments please"
I suppose at least we agree on our taste in cars, even the colour.
By the way it's not so much the BM but reading the same both ways.
But to be honest I tend to agree with you, I'll stick it in the same ideas box as Wayne's "A BM" and forget it....
Enlightenment!
Honest Comments Please...
Try this one the best possible plate for a CSi, (or other really)
M8 U BM.
It's on DVLA for £250, bargain.......
There's another one...
M8 Y BM, but I prefer the first one.
They both read M8 and BM frontwards and backwards, so they read the same in peoples rear view mirrors.
Any takers?
Dave.
WANTED 850 CSI
HI, There's one on Autotrader.co.uk and two on pistonheads.com.
Be careful, if they need work they can be really expensive to fix.
All the normal rules about buying a second hand car apply, and then some!
Try and get one that is stil under a BMW warranty just in case of unforeseen problems.
Le Mans 2007
Never Mind, there's always next year!
Is anyone taking their 8 to Le Mans 2007?
Yes, Le Mans in France, but 24 Hour GT Car racing not GP motorbike racing.
Search for Le Mans 24 hrs on the web.
Is anyone taking their 8 to Le Mans 2007?
If they are and want to catch up let me know.
Wolf (wokke) Chips
I'd be interested to hear whether they have one for a CSi?
Or indeed whether it is worth doing it!
Le Mans 2007
No 8's then ?!
Le Mans
Just wondered if anyone was going and wanted to catch up?
May do an 8 line up, take a few pics etc.
Is anyone off to Le Mans this year?
More Exhaust Chat...
They're not the cheapest but the quality is good.
Still way cheaper than original BMW's.
went straight on my CSi and look great.
If anyone is interested in exhaust systems then these guys do complete or part systems and manifolds for 840's, 850's or CSi's........
Custom Exhaust Systems
For anyone looking for another option for exhaust systems, you could try these, I've got them on my CSi, they do three versions, 840, 850 & the CSi. everything from a full system to rear box only.
