Glad to offer this - any use to you?
You've done it....so don't need this
But maybe of use to others?
Usage
Had the 8 for nearly 8 years now.
It had 39000 miles on it in 2002 and now showing just over 82,000 miles
I was averaging around 7000 miles per annum (mpa) up until 2006, that dropped to around 5000 mpa up to 2009.
Now averaging only around 3000 mpa.
Car is in PERFECT nick now and running like a dream, so decided to put my 'sensible' hat on and sell.
Those good guys at Munich Legends have it in their showroom right now.
OOPS...advertising NOT allowed.
I'll have to be shot...........
Think the E31 should be the same.....
i.e. Washes on 1st then every 5th....
Gerry,
I was thinking of doing this on my '99 840, but that (I believe) has the 5HP24 transmission - from 9/96. Is that right?
I think the 5HP30 (BMW) / A5S560Z (ZF) covers these 8er models:-
95-97 850Ci (M73)
94-95 840Ci (M60)
96 840Ci (M62)
Cheers
Sorry, but cheating is NOT allowed...those are NEW WHEELS!!!!!!
Holy mackerel......can you post a picture of them on the car....blinding stuff!
Supporter of the Funeral Party......................?
Every year BMW pull something clever out of their hat on 1st April..............
Rings a bell...........
This rings a big bell......hasn't it been on p-heads recently?
Last year (or two)???
Even the pictures look familiar...so it's not as if it's a new owner disposing of it either....
Go on, tell me I'm wrong...............
Looks the business
What's it feel like to drive..........?
Spoiler
And your point is..........................
Spoilers in general
It's a personal thing..........and not for me.
BUT...............if it IS your thing....then...
Not "Lip Spoiler" but of use to others maybe....
The BMW Part number for the 8-Series Spoiler is 51.71.2.260.320.
The Part seems to be still available for a mere $600........
Attached are official fitting instructions for the BMW part.
Apologies for rather 'scratchy' images.

Why do folk insist on claiming their 8 is a Csi
This is the 3rd one I've seen this week
Hmmmm, it has the new 5-disc CD-Changer too!
Here's a golden opportunity for someone......
Brand new Becker SatNav system for £100
From a dealer too!
Normal retail is well over £1,000
http://www.duckworthparts.co.u…special_Freelander_1.html
If that doesn't work, just go to www.duckworthparts.co.uk and look up specials for a Freelander 1 (no, don't ask why I'm looking there!!)
Good luck
Blimey Mark, you been on a mission somewhere?
Out of touch for 10 months?
Are you in the forces?
If so.....you get my vote.............
Zitat von stevep840;72905Another one pops up & ready for discusion

I'm with you Steve.....healthy discussion on a private forum is fine by me.........
Zitat von Balbo01;72578At the Photo you can see the Position from the sensor(the yellow plug) in the airduct.
You can find it from the top and must not remove the front bumper
I think your sensor is outside from the airduct and you have to remove it inside and not to change the sensor.
That is a SCARY picture
An 8 trapped in a cave...LOL;-)
Zitat von sparklesmcgraw;72587Best in my opinion would be the Michelin Pilot Sports. Pricey but an excellent tyre.
And one more vote for these. Outstanding tyre.
Thought the Eagle F1 was good until I tried these.
Don't know what they're like in snow, I keep my lady nice out of that stuff, she doesn't like it!
Also I find car is much more stable directionally with 'straight-cut' tread than with 'v-cut'.
Furthermore, don't mix v-cut with straight-cut fore and aft - done that and the car wanders all over the place - most disconcerting!
