My Car is for sale on the classifieds. A prospective buyer did a HPI check costing £30. The result came back with a "Possible Discrepancy".I phoned HPI and complained. They would only tell me what the actual cause was if I paid £30.I went livid. 30 minutes later HPI phoned me back to say that they had information from BMW that the mileage was correct and they have telephoned the prospective buyer to tell him the same.The prospective buyer has confirmed this with me .Couldn't agree on price so I still have the car.It goes for an inspection service at 45000 miles tomorrow at the BMW main agent. I've been quoted £520 +VAT .Is this about right.
The vehicle has had 2 private plates in its life and HPI got their Knickers in a twist. It appears to be all sorted. -
