Looks fine, I don't know what your moaning about. You can buff out those scratches/missing paint. At least yours works, I have the biggest dog on here and I won't let anyone tell me otherwise.
What does it look like underneath dare I ask?
At first sight it looks good , only rust found is in the trunk around batteries and at the rear behind the fender, some welding and cleanup needed it seems in that area.
But would expect a few surprices when I pull apart moreRegards

He´s probably just teasing us with pictures he found on the internet and then after a while will show off the garage queen he just bought. He´s done this before .... or so ...
Good luck on this creaking Endeavour ... creepy endeavour ...
Cheers
Reinhardhaha well let's see in two years time where we are , but getting this one up to Garage queen standard might be over the top , so will aim on a good daily user standard ( but I am worried knowing myself from previous projects )
Zitat von Nifty50;133146It makes Nick F's project look like a walk in the park.
Anything known about the previous owner/s?I know the previous owner and he is a really good guy but have for various reasons not been able to work much on the car himself, but he has enjoyed the car for many years and let it go to me for close to nothing.
Zitat von Danilo;133142This is going to cost you a fortune!
Hmm , yes I guess so , but lets see where we are when I hit 10k in total including purchase price

I am getting into deep water now
Just brough home this one and as you see it needs more then just a little TLC.
Did drive her 750km yesterday and engine , gearbox and driveline seems in good condition
Chassis is also looking OK , with minimal corrosion seen.Paint gone , interiour gone
But for sure I have got my hands full here now

BB we are all waiting for you
Zitat von BBMatic;132372i never stopped lurking here.
Maybe one day. I'm regretting the idiotic sale of my car due to trivial money worries, when I should have removed the car from my thinking completely. She was fixed after a tranny problem and raring to go. The family knows it hurts; we've started a new business meanwhile which i guess took priority, thankfully its doing really well.
maybe if we start doing even more really well, which is possible, i'm working on it. thanks for asking. -
Hi Antonin
I will post it as well as send out mails with information to the Norwegian Club

Yes that make sense as this is the same guy , he had it earlier in a E34
He is also working on a 48valve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=celJFMkxzmQAnd he uses the M70 engine for other fun stuff as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONymFT_wixQ

I will commit to one pair and are fairly sure that Pål Rønning commit's as well
Soldering I can also do myself if needed, or can take on to solder the whole batch if that will help also for the pricing.
I am pretty sure there will be people thanking you later on to keep their CSI's or Alpinas 5,7 running so even if not all are sold right away they eventually will go.Regards

A few videos out there.
And
Have fun , the speed when red shift lamp lights up on 6 gear is 240km and it goes 282 at 7000rpm.

Dieter: for the wiring/crossover connector i did mean you will not see the crossover from the original connector to the new electronic as all can be hidden under the engine cover.
Anyone that can chime in on the question if the car uses the MAF at full throttle? , I did run the the car on Dyno a years back and result was not fully where I expected it to be so question is obviously if a MAF is not 100% anymore and that also then for me a good chance to try with new ones to see if that improves the power.
By the Way Pål Rønning is also interested to participate as he has one CSI and one B12 5,7 ( assume the Alpina also uses the same MAF as CSI )
