3.91 LSD was only offered in the US E-34 M5 up to 7/91,remaining years 92&93 used a 3.73 gear ratio. This differential is a direct swap, all you need to do is swap the output flanges and the back cover. The M5 output flanges are smaller then the E31 or E32 flanges.

I have couple of the 3.91 LSD, if anyone needs one in US.
Contact me. -
Recieved many questions on my email, please read
will try to respond to some of them here.
3.91 LSD was only offered in the US E-34 M5 up to 7/91,remaining years 92&93 used a 3.73 gear ratio. And no the 735i 3.91 diff is not the same and will not fit 850i, it's not a large case unit. So plese no emails with "I can find the same diff at any junk yard for $500".
This differential is a direct swap, all you need to do is swap the output flanges and the back cover. The M5 output flanges are smaller then the E31 or E32 flanges.
The stock differential in 850i/a is an open end 3.64. Yes you will be able to sell yours for $300-500, its an upgrade for 840i and I believe 540i?
After the swap the rpms are about 3000 at 80mph. Top speed would still be the electronically limited 155mph. But most people spend more time driving 0-60 where you notice the biggest difference! The fuel milage is hardly affected, it really depends how you drive. I had my 850i with 3.91LSD in it for 4 years, and did not see any difference in consumption.

I'ts not sold yet but I am missing it already, it will be sad when it leaves my garage empty!
-

Holy shit! 5500 GB pounds for the front set? I wonder if they sold even 1 pair! I know G-Power stuff is good quality but this is crazy
-
Yep, no waste gate on the manifolds, they were desighned to use internal waste gate on the GT28RS turbos.
BTW I have the twin intercoolers listed as well. THX.
-
I should add the M badge to my 850i, that should add atleast 80HP!
The V12 badge only gives you 50HP -
Twin Turbo Manifolds listed in Classifieds forum section.

Yes, thank you for the reminder, these manifolds definetley will not work with RHD cars.
GT 4200 Cambiocorsa is the one I am looking at, still it is hard to let the 8 go:( -
Sad to say I will be selling my 850i and moving onto something more exotic maybe Maserati GT 4200. So I am selling a twin turbo manifolds that were ment for my twin turbo project. Manifolds are completely finished, tested for leaks and fitment. Originally made for GT28RS Garrett turbo.
Contact me so we can work out a deal.

Depends on the M3 if it's the pre 2000 model then 850 wins!
I raced my friends 1997 M3 several times, he has upgraded exhaust and a chip. We would start about the same, but once we reach 50mph range it's over for M3. I constantly left 4-5 cars between us.
Well my 850 is not stock anyway, 3.91LSD diff, motronic engine chips, Dinan tranny chip. -
Car looks good, does it have Koenig supercharger
The body kit looks original koenig, do you have a picture of the engine bay? Without the engine mods this is just another 8 series with koenig body kit (which I like by the way). What is the price for this Koenig 850?
And please post some pics of your MK 850. -
With a new more important project coming up, I decided to list my Alpina B12 intale manifolds for sale on that auction site.
