The lightning-cable for the gearshift also fits in it. Do not put it in there however.
Luckily the cable wasn't long enough, and logic kicked in before i put power back on :p

Well neither do they claim to have finished the story - so there's still hope for a later album / single
I was just talking about normal common sense. No, it is not portrayed in the video - but neither do they clame to be grown up yet.
I like the story as well. It showcases a lifestyle and environment every kid thinks they want, but when they grow up they realize they don't.
Mine has done this as well. Twice. First was after the rear tried to catch up with the front on the highway at ~150, second was after it failed to engage the TC lock because i let off the throttle. I clear it by turning the MID off and on again (open and close door.)
EDIT: On the subject of V16s: http://www.bmwblog.com/2009/11…ype-with-6-7l-v16-engine/
I want one. D:
As a media-student i can tell you that this is really good. You shouldn't be ashamed at all. What you are feeling is the sensation of something getting to you (can't find a punchier english translation), this is what every videographer and storyteller is looking for. Props to the guys, and on top if that the music was actually really good! A nice story as well. After all, it had a nice 70s-feel to it.
EDIT: Also, nice car! And a nice presentation. People love this stuff.
He probably couldn't fit in "seats" after "heated." Common problem.
800 EUR for a gearbox flush? Not even BMW charged me that during Inspection II..
That said, it's expensive. I'm looking at 26k NOK (3400 EUR) just in front shocks, and another 2000 EUR in "misc" to keep her in perfect condition. This includes a new front bumper (several mounts broken, old plastic, and paint peeling), and some engine work. (It shakes between 1400 and 2000 when cold. I also have the reputable ticking noise, and very uneven idle when cold, but fine when warm. Gasket? Any ideas?)
Well, for one thing one of them is black and the other is green. Get the VIN and check?
Zitat von Nifty50;97095Has there been a very recent updated version as I thought I had the latest one and haven't seen an 8 on there?
This was in the March expansion pack released today, March 6th.
Zitat von reinhard;97092Alles anzeigenCan you extract the .carbin files?
I know of someone quite interested to convert this into a 3dsmax "useful also for non-XBox players" 3D-model.
Have some links on how to get to the files needed...
Cheers
Reinhard
The gentleman i bought my car from, Trond Hille, has a very nice 3D model of the 8-series
Hah, me too :D. Funny thing, you can actually have e.g. the M8 bonnet. And full Racing Dynamics bodykit, and assorted BMW bumpers.
After years and years of wait, it's time for the 8-series to shine once again in the world of digital motoring! The handling is dead-on, and power is good. Allthough the noise is a bit off, especially external view from the rear, it's a very good package!
Good, i got the one from the site - hope i didn't ruin anyones day.
I figured it out. I have a small stone bodged between the radiator and fan or something. Lesson learned: avoid gravel.
I noticed something the other day pulling out of the garage. When i leave it in reverse, with engine cold and brakes on, i get a quite noticeable knocking sound. As soon as i get off the brakes it goes away. This happens maybe 1/50 times, but has anyone experienced this? I'll try to get it on video tomorrow, as i think i know how to get it going.
So no Alpina for me ever, then. Maybe i'll just make my own.
Well, since i can't drive a manual
If it breaks, is it driveable? Or do you have to trailer it to Buchloe?
Reinhard: You don't happen to have any articles or info on the Shifttronic B12 Coupés? Like how they are to live with / drive, and reliability? I've heard the Shifttronic clutch is a bit of a hassle.
