Zitat von reinhard;123795Alles anzeigenWithout being explained it definitely is worth a question why the intake runners are silver/blue instead of black/silver but over time personal preferences introduce changes
2007 vs 2015

Why are there now breather pipes on the front of intake runners? I've never seen these on a CSI
Zitat von Timm;123738Cheap so far! Square 'zorst tips - I thought the csi got round ones?
Yes, your correct. Wrong rear boxes for a csi
My engine. Now £5K or near offer
SOLD
Good call. Engine was taken from CC88146.
Rare thing wherever you look.
Mileage in 2009 was reported as 127k and changed to 86k mls here.
Cheers
Reinhard
Just saw this and need to correct you. The mileage you state from the old salvage advert of 127k is totally wrong. Salvage people got it wrong! The correct mileage as backed up by the full BMW history + the cars odometer is 86K. I'm not trying to mislead people or lie
Zitat von anguswolfendale;114880Another one on 19th September - scroll down to car number 45.

And it's Disabled Taxation Class? Some people!
Zitat von sandwich;114648Exactly Greenie...Sadly I think it's worth more in parts than as one!
Piped seats as well! Put that in the ad
That's a great deal for someone. The wheels are worth £2K

As in the picture the pipes in the resonator are perforated so there is some mixing of the gasses from side to side
Zitat von Fatandre;105019Green, didnt you buy a crashed green CSI?
Yes, thats the one
Zitat von omegaman;105016No problem, thanks for posting. Does the interface box look like it would come apart easily? i'd love to see what was in it. It doesn't look to have power so it must be a passive link.
I don't want to take it apart
Zitat von omegaman;105013Thats the one I need! Can I buy it? Please
I am not wanting to sell as I'm keeping as a spare for my csi, just wanted to show how the interface fits the standard 6 cd changer
This is out of an 850csi I am breaking, looks like the standard cd changer but its going through an interface part number 65128355803
On my RHD 98 840 the VIN is driver side seen through the windscreen + on a decal/sticker under bonnet driver side inner wing near the air box and headlight
Painted were not avaliable when I bought a pair 6 years ago and they were £50 each!
51112253001 and 51112253002
Why so dismissive? I thought we were 8 series fans. Someone just bought one of only 150 right hand drive in the world, good luck to them
If you have a compressor you could rig some pipe up and use air pressure to remove the piston, I've done this in the past (not BMW)
