    Hi Richard,
Got your pm,these are the springs i've got on mine.not sure how much i paid but i think it was less than the bay price.was'nt sure what to expect as they were cheap but im glad to say im well pleased with them, plus i think they're the only ones to lower 35mm. i'll post a pic now its lowered & with spacers along with the other info you asked for.

    cheers,Les

    Hi Steve,
oh yeah im watching this allright!.I seen you had this problem some time ago, relays made no difference for me.I've looked on Roadfly, theres alot about the problem but maybe im a bit thick, none of it is any bloody help.In the mean time if i do find out any thing i shall let you know.
best of luck Steve, Les (Martock,Nr Yeovil).

    Lowered pic's

Hi Richard, glad you like the look. sorry i cant shead much light on the fitting side of things but to say the BM specialist said they only took a couple of hours (labour only £117). It was differcult to find any springs that would drop more than 25mm, i got mine from NEED for SPEED in Scotland. Made by PI Springs i cant fault them, also 25% stiffer, much improvement. The tyres are Continental Contisport Contact 245/40/18 & 275/35/18, a bloody good tyre in my view. The V12 emblem you can get from BMW dealers, the part No is on this site some where (i think under mod's). hope i've been of some help to you Richard, cheers, Les

Bloody hell its been quiet lately,i guess most people busy with easter w/e.
Anyway, i think i speak for the majority of us when i say we think our 8s are the mutts nuts,well... i was thinking what would it take for me to part my 8 with(a realistic car). One car i've allways loved is a '68 (Bullit) Mustang, along with countless other cars, but that for some weird reason is the one. So guys whats yours!!!??? Be realistic...(it may be a crummy post but its better than nothing...innit?)

    How much have you spent???????????????????

    Hi Steve,
I reckon around £2500.00 in the 9 months i've owned it. The guy before said he spent around £17.000, the s/s exhuast alone was in excess of £1000. Im looking to get the car resprayed in the near future, not sure what thats gonna cost yet. I think theres two things that drain the pocket more & thats women & horses.

    New wheels & tyres

Theo, I totally agree with you.Cant get Terrys pics up to have a good look but i remember from back along that they looked bloody nice, just cant get anything like that on these shores.I was in two minds weather to import some from the US,in a way i wish i had, maybe next year. Les

    New wheels & tyres

Hi Theo, Does that mean you like 'em or they're a bag of shit ! ? I know what you mean about wheels, trouble with some of the rim/lips is they look like something off a 70's custom car.Took me months to find a wheel that looked "right".Not only is the lowered look loads better, the handling, firmness & ride has transformed the car.Gonna swap K&N filters over to stock (6 months old)filters to see if any differance this weekend.
