The new 18 is all about sustainability and improving the ecosystem, it's entire concept - the design features all of which are employed to cut fuel bills and emissions. It's designed to encourage economical motoring which can hardly be said for our fuel guzzling V12 and V8's, other than improving awareness of our E31's which is inevitable and evident given that its a good story past and future, I don't see it (the i8) having any impact on E31 market values whatsoever. However if those PR stories about our E31 create more awareness and hence demand ---well fingers crossed, wink !

My ABS lights came on last month after redoing my suspension .......also whilst out driving.
I had the car sent ( free) to BMW ...a favour as Im buying the new i3 and they diagnosed it as rear drivers side sensor, i think its a loose connection but have not gotten around to checking that yet...it drives like normal and i just dont go crazy speeds or hard braking in the wet.

In all the years so far I've noticed that dark faced gauges are a lot easier to read, day or night. White/silver gauges do look great but when the sun is shining down like here in Hong Kong or its very bright outside I've found they can glare quite a bit and sometimes they seem to "washout" the reading making it hard to read a gauge at a glance. Have never had that problem with darker faced gauges.

I used to experience the same issues...I eventually bought a CTEK MSX 10 3 weeks ago and have been very happy with the outcome.

My friend lives in Borehamwood, Herts and is looking at houses in Barnet. It takes about 45 minutes via bus and tube to get to Picadilly Circus I quite like the area he lives in, although he thinks Borehamwood is like Bosnia.
Basingstoke is where my brother lives, it's very quick into Waterloo about 40-45 mins and at's also in the London Corridor.
