Like the new layout but wondered if possible to change forum headings to English. My German is rubbish🤪
Second-hand BMW 8 Series for sale in Town Yetholm - CarGurus.co.uk
Hope everyone is well and lavishing attention on their E31s?
Take care
I thought you wore the trousers BB?
Hi all. Enjoying the hills and fresh air plus the lack of track suited feral types and so far all is rosy. I guess the weather won't be as good but hey ho, small mercies.
We've bought an old pub which stopped trading in 1982 and going through the pain of a total renovation. There's some old stables attached which we'll convert in to a self contained Air BNB so that should keep us busy. The village is at the end of the Pennine Way so plenty of accommodation demand from walking types.
It wasn't me who has gone for that 850. It's been for sale for well over a year I seem to recall.
Take care all. Good to see you're still breathing BB! Not sure what audio system is in the V90. Just the standard one I think!
Zitat von BBMatic;151932Alles anzeigenI'm in minor shock at all the replies here. Activity like this not seen since the headbanging days of the early 10's.
When people come here in 600 years time, several among us now will still be here, ossified & slightly crumbling at the edges like that Knight guarding the inner temple in the 2nd Indiana Jones film.
I used Google Translate on Hobie's reply, ... computer said "no".
Timm, cheers. I was wondering if I had noticed it before. Too expensive to merit a thread probably. I thought what the heck & wanted to test everyone's alertness etc
Rog, was it 'just' an 850?
Andre, good to hear from you. The search is tilting at windmills to some extent ...while I'm waiting for my own car to resurface at which point I will spring into action.
We're still one Sandwich short of a picnic, however. Hoping he's in fine fettle.
Good grief BB.....We're all breathing by the sound of it.
All chipper with me. Now retired and moved to the Scottish Borders last week so at the moment fighting the recent Arctic deluge.
Still dream of returning to the E31 fray but to be honest I haven't seen anything that really inspires any confidence sub £20k. Currently the proud owner of a Volvo V90 which ticks a lot of old fart boxes but is as dull as dishwater.
Hope everyone is OK and enjoying the delights of the 8 series.
Will endeavour to try and revisit more often!
In the interests of continuity have popped a pic of the old girl back up!
Don't do it Ivan. I look each and every day for 8 series for sale. Some form of OCD I seem to think.
There's a rather nice one for sale at Old Colonel Cars in Calypso
Good luck. Hope the sale goes to plan. You'll regret it!
Those mirrors and wheels let it down!
Not holding hands Graham....
cheers chap. So far haven't needed the RAC and very impressed. Still haven't seen another on the road so happy!
All signed up! Sandwich for a change
I'm not Nick.... Will get on there. I see you have a slightly more powerful version!!!!
Sorry Angus. Looking forward to getting a few jars of Rust remover on order!
Don't shoot me as would still love another 8 but needed a car for work. Budget is based upon probably the most common and unattractive car on UK roads today. The ubiquitous BMW 320D. Decided to have a punt, join the RAC , and go for this. It's a Guilia Speciale that burns life threatening diesel, but....wait for it, I am really impressed so far.
Anyway, here's a couple of phone pics.

Zitat von anguswolfendale;135278Aston Martin Rear End, typical BMW current interior, awful front end - that grille is vile!! I don't know how this helps us owners of E31's - hardly think BMW will continue to support us with parts if they have another 8 series in the stable. Anyway, how are you Sandwich? Not heard from you for ages - are you thinking of buying another 8??
I'm good thanks Angus. Still in Shrewsbury for my sins. Would love another 8 but funds and a steep front drive won't allow. All the best
Hi all
What's the general opinion on the new 8 series coming to a showroom near you, probably next year?
Whoever designed the grille needs to revert to BBQ manufacturing. However the reintroduction of an 8 can only be of benefit to owners of the E31.
Never seen the attraction of a rebodied Beetle to be honest.
