I bet your friend dosen't know about the 8 Series! Please, Don't drive it until you fix it, They cannot stand to be over heated!!!

True, You will never get a better ride when you up the rim size because you loose all that tire cushion, But it will out corner a smaller rim and larger tire big time! I drive it mostly on the weekends, Well whenever the weathers really nice and when I go to local drive thru's and when I mis it!

To put 20's on your 8, you need a 20mm offsett in the front and go for 25 in the rear, This way I was able to put 20/10's in the rear and 8.5's in the front! The rear has room for a larger tire which I plan to put 285/35/20 back there in the near future, No rubbing or suspension issues, I do have CSi Springs and Bilstein inserts, The ride is excellent!
