To be fair Gerry it may have been brake pad/shoe rub as the car had sat for 6+ weeks. I seem to only drive the car once every 4-6 weeks for a few miles these days other than that she sits on the drive collecting dust which is a real shame. I do have two number 16 bushes BMW spec which have sat in the draw for forever with a plan to overhaul the rest of the rear set up so maybe its time. I will try and find the time to jack the car up and check for movement sit to side etc. I also plan to check the rear shoes just in case something has happended there before I even think about the bearing so put the passports back in the safe for now anyway.

Gents I hear a noise when I am driving slowly which sound like a bearing

Gerry how difficult is a rear wheel bearing change. I can get a few mm movement if I rock the drivers side wheel top to bottom plus I noticed a sound so I think it time for a change.

I don't think there is a magic formula but when mine were slow to attract interest,a quick refresh of the ad worked wonders.
instead of the pics with the car on my driveway, I did new photos with the sea in the background or a glitzy car show room, it makes the pics more interesting & possibly retains a buyers interest a moment longer
Managed to sell 6 this way but none were 'Quick out of the Blocks' Also try keeping your description flowing using power points rather than long rambling paragraphs.;-)
Cheers Steve some top tips I may get round to this again soon. Whats the plan for Gaydon, whos going? I must admit I hadnt thought about it this year. -
Steve as a pro sellar (how many have you sold?) I welcome your advice. Whilst I want to sell the car I dont want to give it away. Any help very welcome we are all friends on here with a shared interest.

I sold both my old V12s for good money £7500 Grey & £7000 White both via Piston heads, why not try a different ad with more vibrant;-) pictures
Didnt you like my pics Steve... -
Update
Well I did put her on Piston heads for £5995 and after a couple of weeks not a single call or email and I dreaming at that price?

Nice job I love a tidy engine bay..

Try tilting the seat forward (as if to let a passenger in the back) now play with the buttons with the seat tilted to see if it behaves the same it may be a wire break or trapped...

Uk mine is currently for sale on piston heads as I too have an itch. No takers or even nibbles yet but I gues with 165k on the clock it will put a fair few off even though its had all the major work done etc.
