Hi
I have a few pix of the car and it's metioned in this tread as well
http://www.8er.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12142
Think it has the M73 engine installed and for sure he bougth a new 6speed gear box and put into it , modified intakes and computer management.
Other then that I have not seen it in action , but Egil and myself got all the parts that where ripped out of it when modified -
Thanks Terje, seems that it is a well planned V12 project! Not that easy to modify a M73 in that way...

Harry.. you already heve this car.. and I believe that you actually contacted the owner about a year ago.
This car was built in Norway.

Egil,
correct, but the advanced search gave no result with my catchwords and since I found the video...
The owner was not 2% as communicative as you and me!Maybe Reinhard or Revtor can bring things together... THX

I have the Vin number... but that wont help much.
As for specs, The car has a M73 engine 6-speed manual, original car was an M70 auto, he runs a Haltec engine management system, wire operated throttle bodies (no DK's), modified intakes, and has 345 wheel HP, roughly 400+hp in the engine.
The builder sold the car, and I don't think it's raced, it showed up at a BMW car club local track day this summer (the video you linked to, I was not there) with the new owner.
the car can run in group 4. but is to heavy to be a winner car, with extra weight added it may race in group 3. and have some potential, but may even be to heavy then too.not sure there is much more to say really.
