Subwoofer Wiring on Original Loewe Amp

Has anyone wired a subwoofer into the original OEM Loewe Amplifier? I wondered if it is possible. I have the CD43 head unit which does not have an pre-amp outlets. I was thinking of getting a discrete Blaupunkt THb 200A Subwoofer

Yes.
Piggy backed the high output cables to the OEM rear parcel shelf bass units and used resistors to give a suitable input for a sub.
I chose a sub with twin coils to take both L & R signals from a twin channel amp.
Done a while ago so I can't remember the exact details of what I did - but it works beautifully.

I'm no electronics expert - what value resistor did you use?
