Additives

    Can anyone please help my BMW dealer says we should not use additives ie injector cleaners in the fuel tank Would you please let me know what you think of this Do they do harm?

    Combustion is a finely tuned process that IC engine designers spend alot of time trying to perfect. I really would not put anything in that was or is not specified by BM. That not to say that carbon deposits cannot build up and change the operating parameters of your car. Physical removal of these has got to be better than a decent helping of redex (however impractical that sounds)!!!! Do you have a problem or do you want to take preventative action?
