Keyless Entry

    Does anyone know about the price or intallation of the "factory" keyless entry systems??? I was at the local upper level auto accessory shops and found a system that I was really excited about. It was an alarm that the remote would alert you if it were going off, it would raise or lower your windows at the push of a button, and now my favorite part,,,AUTO START :D !!, the only question/concern that I have would be about electrical problems?? Does anyone know about the electrical system and what it will take as far as these aftermarket "gizmos" ???

    I have a similar system fitted to mine , it's a Clifford 900 series and is a much improved system over standard.


    the 8s electrical circuits arn't a problem, just make sure you get the very best installation possible, cause i originally gave my car to "specialist" who after a day phoned up and asked me to collect my car, regretably they did not know how to or which wiring harness to break into !!!!!!!!


    The company whodid the install were in and out in 4.5hrs, at the time they couldn't seperate the cars standard alarm /immobiliser, but i have now learnt how this should be done but have now got used to having the 3 immobilisers & 2 alarms. !![/list]
