Does anyone have a half decent prop shaft that will fit my '91 850i auto?
I want to have a prop rebuilt and ready so i can remove the old one and refit the new one without the car being oof the road for too long.
I'm near Oxford.
Thanks

Hi Rob,
I've got one, but I'm not sure it's in good shape. The center joint is not moving entirely freely. And it's in two pieces with no marks to get it in one piece in one time. I've payd 130 euro's including shipment. IF you want it I'd like to get 130 and shipment costs. No gain no loss for me.
Cheers,
Peter
Ive been in touch with FAB and theyve got one for £225 plus the dreaded, is this a good deal and does anyone know what a new prop would cost or am I better off removing mine and having it rebuilt?
Anyone had any experience of this?
Thanks
Rob,
A new one costs a bit more.

Could you be needing the one I've got. If not, I'll try to return it to the guy who sold the thing as I have no use for it.
Cheers,
Peter
Does my car have the top or bottom prop shaft or can it have either?
I'm not sure. I think it's the one with the quote. Maybe someone else can help.
Rob,
This is exactly the one I've got laying at home. At RealOEM a propshaft for an 850 with an auto tranny is listed as 1226680. A propshaft for a manual is listed as 1226673. Strangely enough I can not find this particular number. From what year is the car it came from?
Peter
That is strange, I can not find this number anywhere and I have the same one. I suppose RealOEM is mistaken.
Peter
