The first European 8 series meeting took place Oct 14-15 2000 in Dijon (France).
The meeting was truly European with five E31: 850 CSi from Italy, 840 Ci from France, 850 CSi from Germany, 840 Ci from Belgium and 850 CSi from Sweden. And all had the M-mirrors
Although the most frequently spoken language was English, you could frequently hear French as well as Italian. All this led to a very interesting meeting where everybody had a lot of fun. 
The sky was dark grey all the time, not exactly ideal for photography. But luckily it didn't rain, so the roads were clear for low flying 8ers... 
The late afternoon, we went to the first photo session on a cart track.
