M70 V12 headbolts torque settings

    Chris, have got an Autodata printout for this which gives the following:-


    Stage 1 Tighten 30Nm
    Stage 2 Wait 15min
    Stage 3 Tighten 120deg


    Although this is not a BMW document, the info should be correct.

    Unfortunately I don't have the correct software to reproduce the Autodata pic on here as I am sure other 8 fans would be interested in this.

    Thanks for that.
    Have got car back together again now after head rebuild and i am having trouble with the cooling system pressuring up.
    Both heads were skimmed and we took great care in re assembling.
    Any body any ideas.
    Water pump, thermostat and rad are ok.
