Badging / DeBadging

    OK not a serious topic here but just intrested to hear opinions:


    I prefer a debadged car: no model no., no V12 side badge nothing just the BMW Badge

    I 'm with you on that one and reckon its a pity that we can't leave the BMW badges off without it being so obvious. That way most people wouldn't have a clue what it is.


    I notice UK and Euro spec cars have the V12 badge whereas in Australia they don't. How's that for useless info! All we got was 840 or 850 on the bootlid.

    :) I have never seen an 8 with badges other than the 840/850 script on the bootlid.


    I am sure UK cars did not have anything else as standard, and certainly no V12 badges.
