shaking when i push the breaks

Yes it does sound like the rotors are starting to "warp" or have a build-up.

Mine is starting to do it too.

I have the same problem on my high miler(193000klms). I have changed rotors and pads, the caster arm bushes and shock absorbers as well as the tie rod, tie rod ends and I am now convinced that it is a mushy idler arm bush so its next.

I believe ball joints could also be the culprit but I hope not because they are not able to be bought as individual items.......they are sold as part of the arms at drug money prices.

Check the tyres are correctly inflated...could be a cheap fix
