Wanted: ABS sensor for '94 840Ci (UK)

  • Hi there,

I have several but I would prefer that we are certain of year etc. They are probably all common but lets be sure. Year and VIN would help.

  • Hi,

Sorry for the delay, I've been in New York last week.

My VIN is CC11005 and the car is a 1994 model. The sensor I need is right-rear (driver's side on RHD car).

    Cheers
    Paul.

  • Paul hi,

looks like my reply failed. I did send an email to someone who is probably wondering "what the?"

I do have one available from a UK 94 840 wreck (front ended). I will test it on my own car if you want it and can post it via Air Express at $60 AUSRALIAN

  •

I just need an e-mail address, this counts as your paypal "handle" - effectively sending money to an e-mail address. Best to check you can log in first, go to https://www.paypal.com and enter your login details (the username should be an e-mail address) to ensure the account is working OK before sending me the e-mail address to use.

PS When using paypal always type http://www.paypal.com straight into the browser or at least ensure that's the page showing in the browser. There are loads of spoofs out there that try to steal your password by obscuring the real web address using something like http://www.paypal.s2.com. HTML e-mails are the worst for this, yet another reason for disabling the rendering of hypertext in e-mails (of course M$ products don't allow you to do this, after all why would you need security in the safe haven that is the internet  )

Sorry kinda went off the trail there! But I thought I'd give a quick warning regarding Paypal spoofs, much the same as eBay really.

    Cheers
    Paul.
