Next meet?

Come on guys lets try and get at least one arranged this year.

Agree with Noggie. Not too much enjoyment standing in a car park for a couple of hours with a Westlers burger, chatting about shut lines as the rain lashes down.

Can anyone think of a decent place to meet where perhaps there might be another reason to go?

I went over to Holland about this time last year , Ok it was a long drive but Dick had organised a terrific itinary, meeting up with the Dutch members at our Hotel Sat morning prior to setting off on a drive through the Countryside stopping for lunch, then more driving in the direction of a new Hotel in a new location.

I guess there were around 15-20 cars , the evening was spent relaxing together prior to the next days meet at at main Dealers Showroom, this is the alternative to the "car park" meet, but it does cost?/ How many would be prepared to Pay££'s?/How many would give up a whole weekend/

I would be up for Beaulieu but I guess Steve and others have already spent many hours there!

Its a shame there isnt a UK specialist in the E31 that could open his doors for the day...How was your trip in November? The last thing I would want tto do is go to a BMW dealership to mingle with a bunch of strange blokes with gelled hair and big tie knots!

Perhaps someone wnho knows how to do it could put a poll up? But I guess its a bit soul destroying when the 'apologies' come in the day before.

I am up for a meet, I'm in Bracknell, Berkshire but will go most places.

Isn't it about the company and cars?

Perhaps a meet and cruise / BBQ in the New Forest or an 8 stand at a classic car show somewhere, (Uxbridge - Enfield pagent etc.).or meet at a BMW track day .... used to have some right cracks in my Ford RS club days.

I'll be going along with Alex & Nick[ i think] each time I've been the weather has been brilliant,heres hoping for the same.

Do you have to book tickets in advance? Have you got to be in the BMW car club? I am but just thinking about people who are not in the club
