After 7 weeks of waiting they a finally here !
OZ Futura from felgen-garage.de
9,5"*18 et 0 . With 10,1cm lips in the front.
11,5"*18 et 13 . With 11,4cm lips in the back.
Got my front tires 245/35, but still waiting on the rear's 285/30.
So i have to wait another week before i can put them on my car.
Will of course post more pictures then..
New wheels!!

Sweet.
but are you sure the rears will fit?
I've got 10,5" et 14mm and they are pretty much flush with the body and 275 is the widest I can use even with rolled fenders.
yours will be another 13mm further out.
think you will need pretty stretched tires to make that fit?
This guy is running 12,5" et8mm wheels with 265 tires, they stick quite far outside the wheel well, and he has an agressive camber.

Hi Noggie !
Claus (felgen -garage) told me they would fit, if i roll the arches. And put on a 275/35 tire... But i dont want that high profile , so i went for 285/30.
And believe me , i will make them fit..
Remember my 22", they wasn't bolt on..;-) -
Today i did some test fitting on the rear rims, just to check the clearance..
I took out the spring , and pushed the rim up until it stopped. It doesn't look to bad, the arches are already rolled a little , hope the 285 tire will stretch enough after i rolled them some more.
Took some pictures of it.. -
yep that came out pretty much as I expected.
Think you might struggle with avoiding rubbing, but we'll see. -
They will rub.
My 11x17 AC Schnitzer with 6mm offset did rub prior to flaring the rear fenders.
And I'm running 275s because 285s were NA. -
so we might be looking at a widebody here
-
I was afraid they would rub, but i will figure out how to fix it when the tires are on.
Driving with rubbing is NOT an option !!I will try not to stretch the fender to much , so maybe i have to use 275..
We'll see.. -
I run 285 on my 11" rims and its ok.
Just bought some new rubber on the rear. 285/35/18

It depends a lot on the wheel offset, yours are probably around 20mm -
Got my tires today , and of course.. rushed to get them mounted
And as you all said , they were too big..First i took out the spring , and pushed the wheel all the way up, it was touching the wheel arc ...
After i rolled the arches , i didn't test if the wheel was touching the arc without the spring.
I didn't do that because the springs combined with Bilstein makes it really hard, and with the ride height i currently have , they probably never get pushed up that far .But it's to high, so waiting (have ordered) on new lowering springs (50mm/40mm)
Will see if i need to stretch the rear fenders then, and remove some rust on the inside of them as well . And then repaint the whole fenders .
No problems in the frontMore pictures to come
-
Finally got my lowering springs!! (waiting almost eight weeks from Realcar)
Today i mounted the front springs on my car, this was a bigger job than it normally is.
This is because when i fitted the 22" wheels i raised the spring mount, and now i needed to lower it back where it belong .
With a angle grinder and a welding machine, it was no problemHere are a few pictures of today's work
-
After i lowered the car in the rear, there where enough clearance with "normal driving" .
But to avoid rubbing completely in the future, i was forced to stretch/knock the fender out with a hammer.
I then chose to "remove" the arch i got , when knocking it out..
I did this because i HATE arches on a e31 !
This is one of my favorite things with the 8, no arches..Of course i took some pictures of the job, and everybody loves pictures!
So here we go...
-
Got my car out of the paint box.
I put it up on the lift to have some extra stone chip protection under the fenders, the little of rust that where there i removed earlier. This was mostly for covering up the white over spray;-)The bumper i haven't put back on the car yet, there are a couple of small cracks i want to repair first.
My camera was with me also today
Ps the stone chip protection is blue wet, but get black when dried.
-
Good job
The paint looks nice with the pearl -
Thanks Wayne;-)

Egil it's a lot closer than you believe, I would guess it's about 70km from your home.
Just east of Haugesund or nearby Vindafjord ( according to my addresslist )
