My 840 has been in my garrage over the winter, the battery is dead and I can't get into the car because the windows wont drop down. How do I get into the car?

Can't you open the door's very carefully? The rubber seal on mine does not stop the doors opening if I'm careful.

There is an emergency "open" built into the trunk/boot lid.
There is a key slot above the license plate to the left of the normal opener.
That should open it up enough to get a battery charger on one of the batteries. then the rest of the car should open.

Found the key release for the boot and got into the battery to jump start. thanks for the info.

Entering the Car
Passenger side door will always open when battery is dead.
Lift the handle and then turn the key. Its not as easy as you think but it does work. Had it happen on 7-series a couple of times.
