I recently received an email from Alasdair that he will be unable to carry on the organizing for the upcoming Gaydon meeting (please avoid asking Alasdair why - obligations have arisen).
Therefore Alasdair has asked me to help out in finding a UK-based 8er owner to help make a LARGE showing at the Gaydon meeting.
Role: cheerlead and coordinate as the 8er focal point with UK BMW GB for attending 8 Series owners and their cars
Goal: to get the "largest" 8 Series attendance ever at a UK BMW meeting
Amount of work: Minimal - 8-Fest.Com can assist in newsletter content, distribution and some registration tracking.
Why consider this? It'll be fun to see up to 40+ 8's show up in Gaydon and shock everyone (believe me, last week's 2004 East Coast 8-Fest at the BMW Spartanburg, South Carolina factory/driving school is a testament to shock value (grin). http://www.8-fest.com/events/recap.cfm?EventID=6
The E31 Registry and newsletter mailing list has over 50 (!) UK 8 Series owners - many of them have emailed us and asking about the Gaydon meeting.
