can anyone tell me why club e31 profile refuses to accept that i have a 1994 840 and tells me i have a 1989 850?

Me too but it says I have an 850 csi which is quite cool but not the 840 ci I actually have

Known Problem
This is a known problem.
With Philippe back online and overseeing the site, perhaps he'll view this thread and attempt to fix it.
Sometimes it gets the right car, other times it does not.

Try going back and editing your profile a few times. It worked for me. I noticed when I had registered (and everytime I change something on my profile) the it defaulted to a 1989 850, green. But when I retyped my correct info. 1994 840, black and refreshed my screen it came up correctly. It won't hurt to try. Hopefully, mine is still correct.
