Richard,
I am happy (well not happy) to see that I am not the only one with that problem, it is funny how even the smallest problems seem to get every 8 owner..
DMP
I had the same problem. I got my local dealer to replace the sensor and that fixed the problem. My sensor was loose for some reason or another...
Thanks Sean....
Much appreciated..well done mate.
Jud is cool to help with the build shee on the cars huh?
sorry its not a low number
Lets see some scans of the other cars
Richard
Cannot remember if it was my 8 or 3 but ...
has someone put the sensor back upside down?
(I am not taking the p***. Been there and seen it and fixed it!)
Where is the sensor ?
keith where's the sensor located---in the engine bay somewhere?
Hi Richard
It is in the engine compartment. Looking from the front you will see the detergent bottle (with the cap) on the left. The water reservoir (with only a small hole) is adjacent. The sensor is located near the bottom, right side, of the reservoir.
Cheers
Keith
Keith thanks allot>>>>>>>>>>
We can- will have a look when I get the car after Dec 11th - already ordered a whole upper and lower control arm repark kit set, new springs, Bilsteins,
hubcentric rings 10,000 HK$ worth of Parts incl shipping from the USA
Not bad considering one EDC shock here is 8,000k HK$ !!
Washer Fluid Level Sensor(s)
There are two of these level sensors on Euro and Canadian Spec cars which are equipped with headlight washers. One in on the reservoir in the trunk/boot, the other on the large reservoir under the hood. In both cases, the harness on the level sensors should be oriented straight up which then puts the sensor itelf in the correct orientation to measure the level of fluid in the reservoir. Inspect both and correct if necessary. The large front reservoir is filled on demand from the rear reservoir and generally only has a few inches of washer fluid in it as once the fluid level satisfies the setting of the level sensor, the rear pump is shut off.
Hope this helps.
