Thanks.
Since I was inside the car I could not take any pictures.
There was a guy who did, and he promised to mail them to me, but I haven't got them yet.
He said he had some smoking ones.
This was my first attempt on a track with that car, and I need a few more laps to get to know the breakaway points and the LSD.
So I did'nt have any drifts with a serious smoke trail.
This is also a go-kart track, so it's small and the safety zones are small.
When I get a picture I'll post it. -
sorry, kind of forgot about this one.
There was not huge amounts of smoke, but my passenger was happy
Maybe next time I'll break out the "smoke machine"
*EDIT:
For some reason the pictures did not appear in this post, probaby unable to link to my M3 forum gallery.
Will upload them when I get to shore, currently offshore in the Norse sea, we have 83kts winds and 14m waves at the moment.
Hurricane is 63kts by the way so it's a little windy

well.... the M3 and the 8 are completely different drives.
the M3 is wild, lots of revs, blasting through the gears, superb handling and great fun, however can also be driven nicely and work well as a daily driver/cruiser.
I had 290kph yesterday on my speedometer and there was still more to go, but I got into traffic (yes it's de-restricted)
Was funny to downshift in 240kph..... never done that before.
The 8 is more of a steady push all the way, more subtile you may say.
I'm stil going to use my 8, but it has nowhere the same explosive power delivery or handling as the M3.
Two very differnet cars, with two very different images.
The M3 is more of a toy car, just brutal and raw, though cn be driven like any other e46.... but then its just another e46 right??
The 8, now thats something special.
But just so that I have said it, an 850 is no match for the e46 M3, I would leave it trailing in dust all the way to to the end.
Egil, that sounds like a lot of fun! -

Oh it was fun allright, but there is a dowside to this too.
Due to my radiator problems I havent driven the 8 since August.
When I started driving it I found the 5 litre V12 to be slow and powerless....
