That's a very nice car you have there.

Very nice mate, I notice you have a blower fitted , whats the performance figures like?
-
Very nice - I have a couple of questions if you don't mind:
1) You've got a blower fitted - as Wayne already noted - can you give us some information on that?
2) The headers look nice, what breed are they? They look as though someone built them that knows about getting equal lengths, I've seen some headers that didn't have equal lengths.
Cheers
Jason
PS - you're only about 2 hours away from me here in Adliswil - fancy meeting up sometime to compare 8's? I have a '97 M73 -
Thank you
Hi guys
Thank you for your kind words.
The supercharger's brand is Vortech. Since there is no kit available on the maket for the 850, I had it installed by some compressor specialist in Buttwil. The company's name is Novidem. They have been installing compressors for the past 20 years on all kinds of cars and they are very professional.
Sorry, I don't know the power output since I havn't had a chance to test the car on a bench.
The headers come from a company which is no longer in business. They hand made stainless steel headers and complete exhaust for just about any car. Their name was Tezet in Bülach.
It would be a great pleasure to meet Jason. Let me know when is a good time for you. Send me a PM and we can fix a date.
Bye

Hi there, just wondering what wheels/tyre sizes you are running?
They fit perfectly in the arches.
Did you lower the car at all?
Fraser -
wheel size
Hi,
I am glad you like it, thank you.
The wheels are 19" X 9" in the front and 19" X 11" in the rear (rear rims not available on the market in these dimentions).
The tires are 245/35 in the front and 295/30 in the back on these pictures. Since then, I have changed the rear tire's size to 295/35. I think it it fills the space even better. I will post some new pictures this spring. The only problem with this configuration is that I have to drive with the ASC off (it detects a wheel spinning difference and cuts engine power. It doesn't bother me since I never liked to drive with the ASC on.)
The car has the complete Alpina suspension kit.

Hamann Front Spoiler
Very nice set-up! Mine's the baby version of your car. Where did you get the Hamann front chin spoiler from?
Best regards,

Hi John,
I am glad you like it.
I bought the front spoiler directly from Hamman.... some 10 years ago!!!
I have had this car for about 13 years now. And I still love it like if it was the first day I drove it. -
I should have bought it 7 years ago when I had the chance. Have you seen any for sale recently or distributors that have them? Is it a replacement of the lower valence or does it go over the entire stock front end? Shoot me a PM when you get the chance.
Best regards,
John P. -
There's a Hamann front chin on the German ebay at the moment but I think it's a (later?) slightly different pattern?
Have a look here:

Thanks for keeping an eye out for a fellow member. That one is nice, but I am looking for a simpler look and also my garage driveway limit me from having anything too low. The hunt continues.

What about this one.... might still be a bit low though.....
No affiliation etc etc.... I could help with shipping though....

John,
I bought the exact same spoiler as the one on eBay (Argonaut information). It was also too low for me . I cut the lower part off and made it the way I wanted.

Hello,
I appreciate your help. Is that the factory fit piece? Do you have pics of it on the car?
Thanks,
John P.

ByeDid you end up doing some extra glass work in the center portion to make the bottom have a continuous rolled edge?

John,
Yes, unfortunately that's what I had to do. It takes some time but I am happy with the result. -

I sent a message to the seller on the ebay.de bid. Hopefully I can get it.

All right John, I hope it works out for you. I am sure you wont regret the investment.
good luck

The seller had contacted me back. Unfortunately shipping was and additional $800USD. Yikes! A bit too steep for me right now.
