Looking good. Why were you considering selling the 8?
Well,I have a period just lately where I've had to leave the car at home more times than I care to remember & travel in my wife's crappy car just to fit some passengers in
However, normal service returns & I'm dabbling with wheels, ahhhhh that's more like it, & next time the passengers can fook off
That a boy Steve..... I'm proud of you....
Top man Steve glad to here you are holding fast
New wheels MK 20"
What are the offsets and on these?... and are the spiggot diameters OK for the e31 without needing centering rings?
The 18" versions of these from the e39 require the rings and spacers to clear the brake calipers, by more than 7mm.

Direct fitment Arnie, 72.6 centers, et 22 front & 32 rear/tyres are 245/30 & 285/25
If this was 2 weeks ago, I would have had them off Steve.
I've got a set now and they're due back from refurb today.

One just can not keep secrets from you lot?
I have looked at these more than once So I will watch with interest.
As always for the question would be do I sell my current Alpina's and or the spare throwing star set etc.
This is as far as I got before the rain came;-)
Very nice Steve I look forward to seeing the full set!
This is insane. How big are those?

This is just to much for me to handle. I hate such big rims on the e31, but this is stunning.

What's the ride like Steve, in comparison to the Alpina's. Do you have sport suspension as well. Reason I ask is because it is quite difficult to find the happy medium between looks and ride. My wifes car had 18" AMG's with AMG suspension and I hated the ride so much we just changed the car for a more wafty drive with 'normal' tyres. I find the 16" on my 850 with the sport suspension quite firm and as much as love the look of your Alpinas, I am very nervous about going down that route.

As some folk ask "what price vanity" ?
Mine has new lowered suspension which I don't find hard at all but then again I'm use to driving on 19's & 20's as I don't drive that far each year & accept the trade off in looks for comfort.
The Alpinas have a very sleek look, where as i feel the MK's are very Brutal in appearance, I may just have to keep the 'pinas' as :)well.
