    I'm getting two new tyres 'cause of a blow-out! Should I put the two new tyres on the back, or front axle i.e. which is better to have the better tread on?

    Thanks for the advice, but a don't plan on doing any of that drifting(?) in the 8. In my Mk1 Golf GTI, yes, but not in the 8!

    The reason I was asking the question is because awhile back I thought I remembered reading somewhere that BMW had advised that contrary to popular belief, better to have the better tread on the drive axle. I can't find it again though...
