Actually Steve I am now sort of employed again as Jeremy Kyle and Countdown was getting a tad tedious.First trip tomorrow delivering new Minis around the country and then handing them over to happy punters. Off to sunny Slough in the morning and driving home on an 03 Punto! Quite excited really!

Great news Sandwich! A minor relief for the citizens of Shrewsbury as well..they'll have noticed you hanging round shopping malls, etc: eyeing up random shop windows that are found mysteriously smashed the next morning.
On a serious note dear boy: Excellent news..
Slough in the morning beats Kyle tenfold. (Just make sure you leave the city perimeter by nightfall).
All done and dusted. Manged to make it back safe and sound. Those MINI things are really quite pleasant

No! You're only a year or two my senior.
I'm here all week, btw.
slow progress due to the steep learning curve/colour change but only the roof Bonnet & front bumper to go
Steve I thought it was changing to White. Now black Or did I miss something
Keep up the good work mate
I can't keep up any more....
the White was my' training course' cheap stuff naturally, now using pro quality vinyl but will have a silver roof after i decided lime Green was a tad OTT
Good luck with that Steve but I hope you dont intend using the car outside too much!
I did the ACS tailgate spoiler on my X5 in the Pro quality 3M black carbon effect and 8 months down the line it had aged so badly I had to rip it all off and paint it, something I now wished I had done in the first place. It looked pretty ropey after 6 months though. It goes dull, grey and misty.
Thats why I went for real CF on the trim, internal and external on the 8.
I do hope you have more success with the amount of work you are putting into it.

I'm sure it will be OK for a while, don't forget? I get pretty fed up all to quickly so we'll see but my biggest fear is 1st trip out on the bye pass & watching whole sheets of vinyl ripping off the car could be embarrassing;-)
Just been thinking how to wrap the bonnet vents??, so, I 've decided to pre wrap the louvers then run the bonnet wrap over the vents
Can't wait to see the finished project Steve, it's certainly going to be different!
Slow progress due to my work
Nearly finished the bonnet today

Must say it looks rather spiffing.
Can't wait to see that in real life!
She's coming out of the Garage this weekend ,1st time for 2 months so maybe take some photos
Now Finished
At last , Bonnet & wrap all done, now waiting on the battery charging before I can go any further
For a boring old Fart/traditionalist - (the terms are probably interchangeable) - it actually looks stunning! Mean, futuristic, head turning are just a few words I managed to concede.
Kind of amazed at how good it looks. I'd like to see it up close and personal.
Looks like matt black works on an E31 after all (I saw one once, and wasn't convinced but this is a different kettle of fish).
I actually like it.
