Ich habe mal eine Frage: ( ohne jetzt den ganzen Fred gelesen zu haben )

Können auch "Tagesgäste" an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen ?

Hintergrund: Meine Frau möchte gern mal Wien sehen, und so könnten wir das Angenehme mit dem Angenehmen verbinden. Die Stadt ansehen, am Treffen teilnehmen, die "Tourfahrer" verabschieden, und wieder gen Norden fahren.

Hi,

I updated the list below since my wife obviously is coming with me but we never know with women they never make up their mind! Or i could change partner at the last minute and get me a much younger one.

Also i had some good times in reading your threads about which word we should use to describe our get together. I didn't mention it before but i always found it weird to use the word "meeting". When we used to organize our "get together" years ago i always used the word "fest". But since most people used "meeting" i never wanted to upset them. I went on with that non appropriate word "meeting".
For your knowledge, in France we use the word "Rallye" or most common "Rasso" short for "Rassemblement" which is a get together. Rallye comes from the verb rallier (lier avec : join with) or joindre (To join). We also use Rallye for a rallye (race). We never use the word meeting for a "get together". If we do that is very wrong and shows you don't speak correctly.
I beleive the main goal is to have fun and get together but if we speak correctly it's even better. I think it's good to have people to correct things when we make a mistake. I like people correcting me when i make a mistake. So i can progress. Even though it's not rally oh sorry really important. But it's a way to make progress. That's just a state of mind. A certain philosophy of life. Even though you annoyed some of us Jack. You made a tremendous work and i'm sure this meeting oups sorry rallye will be a blast. Really looking forward to it.

For your knowledge, people here call me Jimmy because it is my artist name. That's the reason why if you happen to see my facebook i'm registered under Jimmy Dray and not Fabrice Dray. Now you know a little bit more about my personal life which wouldn't be interresting for you guys but you can visit my facebook if you have some spare time!

We will in fact be touring the city on SATURDAY - plus a river cruise - and then PRATER at night using a TOUR bus - so you can avoid traffic and subways but still go where you wish to go as well. Or you can go solo...your call.
