BMW or Schnitzer made wood for E31's. You might need a mortgage on your house for a deposit but they are available.

Not sure if the process is avaioable where you are but here in Melbourne, Australia there is a dashbord decrator/specialist who can woodgrain anything. Its a paint base to give the depth or darkness of color you want then the grain is some kind of film process with a two pack clear. looks same as the real thing and is same process as todays new cars with wood.. I had a quote to do mine at around $500 AUD. No thanks.

They can also replicate a carbon fibre which you just cannot pick from the real thing but they price it same as wood. Over the top

I'm not 100% sure but I think you will find that Schnitzers and the Ebay stuff is plastic not wood. Its hard to pick from the real thing. Let us know when you find outy what and how much o.k?

I will see what I can find out for you. I don't think they will have a site as they are only a small time outfit. one of those grotty factories with a tiny untidy shopfront and an uncle Fester behind the jump. In fairness they are doing some product for Ford Motor for our Australian Falcon XR8 Sport models so that should give you an idea of quality.

Not impressed with wood trims in something that is meant to be a bit of a sports car. Unless done excellently then it just looks tacky!
