Even at the new $/£ exchange rate they seem like a good deal.
However, I read somewhere that S70 throttles are slightly different to M70 throttles. Is that correct?
I've been meaning to dismantle my existing ones since occasionally, with a cold engine, after some period of inuse the engine dies when decelerating, for example when approaching traffic-lights, and so I think the throttle mechanism do with a clean.

Could you enlighten me how the S70 throttles are different from M70? I have a pair that came off US spec CSI. Can't see any difference.
BTW Wuffer does a good job cleaning the throttles underneath the cap but does not replace worn parts or completely disassemble the throttles to lower gears. I know someone might say it's not necessary, but 70% of the throttles have alot of rust accumulated in the gears and some have worn out brushes.
As far as do it yourself, yep it's a good reference. But I have fixed at least 10 pairs where someone tried to do it for the first time and screw up by breaking commutator brushes, I am not even talking about alignment of the contacts if you go down to lower gears and do it the proper way... -
M70 and S70 share the same throttle bodies. It's the M73 that got different ones.

I know the M70 engine does not benefit from larger diameter throttle bodys because of the restrictive design of the head, but I wander if larger displacement S70 would gain any power if the throttles are bored out by 3mm? Has anyone experimented with that?
