Hello 8 lovers, how is everybody. Nath
THIS csi WHATS WRONG WITH IT its been on ebay since mid july, pistonheads, autotrader,& BMW gb web site, maybe it has a dark past
If only the 840 sport had less miles then I would get it, 139,000 is a bit too many miles for me
Does anyone know of anymore websites where there are 8 series for sale?
Thanks
Wayne

Hi Richard
Its a very nice example but I am after the later 840 Sport model and I am not a huge fan of the black interior, sorry to be so fussy, but as I plan to keep the car for many years I want to make sure its the one I want.
Thanks again
Wayne
Wayne , I looked at this one nr Bristol was my 2nd choice against the car I bought .....

I sent an email asking about the service history and his best price and i will let you all know. Chat with you all later bye. Nath
Quote '' Full History, part Bmw part specialist, all fully stamped. The car is fully clear, no debts. Any inspection welcome ''. I asked if the car is hpi clear and could be a bargain.
I have just spoken to the owner, he is going to attach some pictures of the interior, he seems to be very genuine seller, but the car doesnt have many of the extras fitted, only comes with the cruise, so its not for me i'm affraid
Oh well keep on searching,
Wayne
Wayne - understand
Mate I fully understand 840 is the way to go ...
Cheers
Damn the number of nice late model 840Ci I see that are let down only by the gearbox, AUTO! No thanks, I think it's really a pity that so many of these cars are lacking the proper 6-speed box, it really is a requirement for full driving enjoyment.
Of course all CSi are 6-speed, but the higher price and potentially more expensive maintenance are a problem. I'd love a CSi, just not sure I can afford it!
I'll stick with my cherished 840Ci/6 for now, I think I was lucky to find it
Zitatmany of these cars are lacking the proper 6-speed box, it really is a requirement for full driving enjoyment.
I agree. Having a 6-speed was on top of my list when I was looking for an 8, besides that I wanted a mauritius blue one with csi mirrors. Electrical gearbox-problems don't bother me However, it does go in 2nd gear with some difficulty, but I can manually guide it gently into gear.
Cheers,
Peter

I'm going to resist the urge to comment on this one
Hi Steve how are you mate, another thing that worries me about the Csi on ebay is the amount of owners ( 7 in total ). When i look at the drivers footwell and see a metal plate, you know an 18 year old lad was told by his parents he could be a car designer, unfortunatly he is crap at it. It may have been involved in an accident and maybe not, but i don't like it overall. I'm waiting for the perfect Csi ( a yellow one please ) to come along so i will keep looking. Laterz.
Blue Schnitzer 840 ci sport here on Ebay
Schnitzer 840 Ci sport for sale on Ebay guys ( no pics though ), seems to me that ebay is quite a popular place for selling the uber coupe. Here is the link :
