Just realised that your HID kits have been costing me about £7 a go, damn paypal taking a fee from the money you all have sent me - so that when i forward your money on, it takes £7 from my account lol.
Ah well, never mind.

Alex, tell me if you want me to send £7 via paypal and I will, afterall this has become the best improvment I think all of us have ever done to our beasts, and at a rock bottom price too.
Thanks again
Wayne
they're in.
Real improvement on what was there before, upgraded 'white' bulbs (still in fogs, main and flashers).
Went the PnP route, mounted the ballasts under the light cradle which involved removing whole assembly and securing out of sight. Wires thru grommets etc. Basically with bonnet up you cannot see any evidence of my tampering No error on OBC either
Had a 'moment' with them when I thought a bulbs didnt work. Anyone who's fitted them will no how much of a pain it was to dis-assemble the whole kit to test the ballast on working bulb, and then to test the bulb on working ballast
Turned out the bulb did work after all, so had to leave it dangling for 10mins before to burn in before I could move it back to other side......
You guessed it, blown fuse #11 7.5A..... Grrrrrr. There is a lesson here I'm sure.
Anyway, here are 2 pics, work in progress and finished. I'm off to dazzle people.....
Hi TallTony,
If I understand correctly, you had to replace your fuse.
Did you replace it with the same strength fuse or did you use the fuses included in the kit ?
Thank you for your answer and nice car !!!
Michael
Hi Michael, thanks for your comments. Yes I replaced the 7.5A fuse with a spare 7.5A that was in the the FuseBox Cover. I think I blew it by turning lights on without having a bulb in place, which I did so that I had more room for the fiddly bits of the installation, cant be sure though.
Have to say the air was very blue when I finally checked the fuses, after dis-assembling practically all my handiwork on both lights to test the 'dud' bulb....
One point though which I need to sort out. AM radio stations are now unlistenable due to interference from the HID lights. Turn them, off and everythings ok. I've heard of 'suspressors' or something that are supposed to eliminate this. Does anyone know about this and how/where to fit them, or have the same issue with AM radio and these HID Lights. ie FiveLive in UK ??
Cheers
I have noticed that the lights seem to affect the MW, but it doesnt really effect me as I'm a radio 2 listener, when the cd's not playing
sorry dup.
