  • Hi everyone,:winkwink:
Thank you so much Terje and Egil for this wonderful meeting. It is far beyond expectations and for me the best meeting ever i atempded. What a lovely country you have. It is phenomenal... Though i travelled around the world! I just regret i didn't make preikestolen and the great route Wolf and Dave are taking to go back home but i didn't have enough time. Nice to see you boys and girls from norway, sweden, netherlands, germany, denmark and Poland.
    Hoping to meet you again.
May the 8 be with you and for always!
    Fabrice:driver:

PS : For the dutch... Dick missed the best meeting, too bad!:rofl::cool: Please don't tell him:laugh::aetsch:

Que la 8 soit avec vous!:driver:

  • A biiiiiiiiiiig thank you

to Egil, Terje and especially also to Terje's charming wife for all the perfect planning and organization of this meeting - especially also for managing to organize a perfectly sunny day for the Fjord trip which left me just speechless. BTW Egil, how's your sunburn?
It was great to meet all you guys and being able to put a face to all the well known names.

I'm writing this post while sitting in a beautifull hotel in YES, still in Norway :devilchilli::devilchilli::devilchilli:
Dave and myself drove up the 9 yesterday, headed for 134 west and then 13 north and later east towards 40. The scenery is again just spectacular to say the least. But the road from eagles's nest out is my favorite :driver:
I bet I created a multi million NK fine when coming back from Dave's and my extended 160km "find an open gas station" trip

When I'm home I'll download a 20 min. video to my web site and post the link here in this forum for those who are interested..

    Cheers
    Wolf

  • I so agree with everyone. This meeting was beeond my expectations. Thank you for everything and thank you all for making it happen. The roads was the best so far (not the speed limit but the scenery):top:.Nice to meet everyone:winkwink: and I hope we can arrange something i Sweden next year. Pelle has some good ideas.

    Hey crazy frenchman :laugh::winkwink:,

you should have joined Dave and myself.:driver:
The sceenery here is just unbelievable.
Out of curiosity: Did your gas consumption change with the chip set? Once in a while people are asking me this and I can't say because I never drove my 850 with the boring standard set up.

    Cheers and CU hopefully soon

  • A few more pictures from me, sadly they are small as this forum does not allow large pictures to be uploaded.

Wokke. My sunburn is bad, but I have started to treat it, so I should be fine in a few days.

This is what som lucky people got to see this weekend.... and others didn't.

  • I hope all who attended had a good time, everyone appeared to be very happy when they left yesterday :)

  • Hi Egil,

thanks for the pics, but a bit bigger is possible I think:

and this is why you've got a sunburn. I hope you'll recover from it soon. At least you didn't get sick like Dave, who's been throwing up this morning. So we're currently stuck in Eidfjord. Maybe we can keep driving later today.

  • Hi, I have just done the deed to me and my car! Since noon I have washed it (three times) and now I am satisfied with the outside.:grin2: Left to do later this evening is interior and inside of the rims and wheelhouses (not sure of the proper word) in all a full day of joy!:)

  • Starting Sunday 10:00 in Lysebotn and arriving Monday 08:30 near Giessen, that's given to me long distance driver 1360 kms (netto) satisfaction by driving my B12 - only interrupted by waiting for the ferryboat at Kristiansand.
(and no more problems with the shifttronic clutch)

My warmest thanks to Terje and Egil  and even to all the background staff for the perfect organisation. It has been a remarkable and unforgetable event!

Now who showed interest on the European meeting 01.-04.09.2011 or not, you all should come to Poland ...

... to get a reasonable meeting-cost-average for the 2011 season.

Have a nice dry summer and

    thanks, thanks, thanks
