However - non-members, visitors and guests will NOT be admitted to participate - if they do not register with our 8er.org group administration in the lobby.

All club regular members, visitors and guests must register and pay the 35EURO registration fee PER CAR in advance or in cash (EURO only) during registration.

Each registered member and guest will receive an admission ID to wear and drivers will get a window parking/convoy placard for their cars.

No exceptions.

PS: The driver/owner registration packet will include a LOTTERY TICKET for a MEDION GOPAL P5460 NAVIGATOR AE 7A for West and East EUROPE along with other prizes which will be drawn and awarded at breakfast on Saturday morning in the hotel. City and regional maps with event brochures will be included in each packet plus contact data and the complete daily schedule.

Hi Susi, Oli, Wolf et al -

There is no advance registration - you will register and get your packet and ID and tickets in the lobby.

But you will be able to pay your registration fee online on my website after 7 MARCH -

Those who do not have a credit card or PAYPAL can pay in cash in the lobby.

I have to pay the BUS COMPANY in advance and other costs - so I prefer that all participants pay in advance online before 15 APRIL.

Trying to arrange advance purchase of event/museum tickets - which cost will be added to your registration fee based on the events that you select on my questionnaire - next month.

All other optional events, costs, drinks and meals will be ala carte by individual.

Please wait for the instructions next month...

Ich wollte noch fürs Treffen in Wien 5 autos ( E31 natürlich ) aus Russland anmelden. Die Jungs haben erst gestern Fahrkarten für Fähre von Finnland nach Rostok gekauft. Es sind Fahrzeuge aus StPetersburg und Moskau.
Leider sind semtliche Informazionnen auf Englich und da komme ich nicht so gut zu recht. Ich brauche noch paar infos auf Deutsch wegen Hotel reservierung (nach onlein buchung sind angeblich keine freie Zimmer mehr )

Ja , das sind die Jungs , und noch der Sergey . Er ist damals aus Moskau mit seinem CSI gekommen. Es werden 7 E31 kommen.

Na super!!!

Die damalige 8er- & Alpina-Reisegruppe kommt auch fast komplett nach Wien (und fährt dann weiter nach Budapest und Krakau). Da können wir ja in Petersburger Erinnerungen schwelgen.

Wie viele Personen seid Ihr denn?

Die Reisegruppe plant nämlich am Samstagabend (08.06.13) das Abendessen IM Wiener Riesenrad einzunehmen. Zur Zeit haben wir noch sieben Plätze frei. Wollt Ihr mitkommen?
(Zu diesem Thema kommt noch ein spezieller Beitrag.)

Ein fröhliches Hallo an alle!

Im Rahmen des Wiener Aufenthalts plant die 8er- & Alpina-Reisegruppe, an unserem "freien" Samstagabend (8. Juni) ein Essen IM Riesenrad des Praters, also in den Kabinen ('Waggons' genannt) des Riesenrads während des Umlaufs.

Nach kürzlicher Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Betreiber stehen regulär zwei Waggons für je 12 Personen zur Verfügung. In Ausnahmefällen kann noch max. ein weiterer Waggon umgerüstet / zur Verfügung gestellt werden.

Die "Fahrzeit" beträgt ca. 1 1/2 - 2 Stunden. In dieser Zeit wird ein 3 Gänge-Menue serviert. Die Gesamtkosten für die Waggonmiete und das Essen belaufen belaufen sich auf ca. Euro 100,-- / Pers. Die Kosten für die Getränke kommen dann noch hinzu. Aus logistischen Gründen wird pro Waggon ein und dasselbe Menue gereicht. Nach bisherigem Buchungsstand haben wir einen Waggon, in dem als Hauptgang das echte Wiener Kalbsschnitzel gericht wird, im zweiten Waggon Zwiebelrostbraten.

Auf den ersten Blick scheint es kein so ganz billiges Vergnügen, allerdings lohnt es sich laut Armin, der sich dieses Vergnügen bereits zu einem früheren Zeitpunkt schon einmal gegönnt hat. Das Essen wird von einem stadtbekannten guten Restaurant hergestellt und jedermal, wenn ein Waggon am tiefpunkt des Riesenrades ankommt, wird ein Speisegang angeliefert.

Wir haben für dieses Event bereits im Kreis der Teilnehmer der ALPINA/E31 Ungarn Tour 17 Festbuchungen.

Wer Interesse an der Teilnahme hat, melde sich bitte definitiv bis spätestens 15. März (dead-line) mittels Nachricht (PN) an "Kuhni" oder "Daten-Salat" an.
Danach werden wir Kontakt mit den Betreibern aufnehmen, um die Waggons zu reservieren.

Der guten Ordnung halber nun noch ein Hinweis in eigener Sache: "Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst"!!

Hello to all participants!

The 8er & Alpina travelling group is planning to having lunch at the Giant Wheel located in the Vienna Prater (amusement park) on Saturday June 8th evening. The lunch shall happen IN the gondolas (so-called 'wagons') during their cruise around the wheel. We have been in contact with this company and were informed that it is possible to rent waggons / gondolas for having diner and having a fabulous view on Vienna and the environment.
The maximum capacity of the waggons/gondolas for this diner event is 12 persons. In general, two wagons are on stock for any kind of event, and even a third wagon could be prepared.

As long as the price is concerned it has to be calculated with round about EURO 100,--/pers. (for a 3 course diner = starter / main dish and desert and the rental costs for the waggon itself). Beverages are not included and have to be paid extra. There are different meals available but we have been informed that we shall sticfk to one meal for a whole waggon due to logistical reasons.
It'll take approx. 2 hours starting at approx. 18:00 hours - 20:00 hours. It seems to be expensive, but due to former experiences of Armin ("Daten-Salat"), it will be an unforgetable evening.

Just 17 seats have been booked by the participants of the Alpina/e31 tour.

If you are intersted to participate / join please let us know until March 15th (deadline) at the latest by sendig a message (PM) to "Kuhni" or "Daten-Salat".
