Norway 2010 corso to Eagles nest

  • May i ask what light setup you are running? Looked like HID in both low beam and foglights. The cutoff were also quite amazingly good.

    Hi Adrian,

    well spotted ;)
I actually have ALL lights equipped with HID. The system typical delay on the high beams is a little annoying but once it is up and running it is an amazingly bright light. And if I would be allowed to only install one HID set it would go into the fog lights.

    Cheers

I'll start saving up for it soon.

Yes I think there might be one in 2013 or 2014.
Will do something similar to this one, make it attractive for new people, but not like a repetition for those who attended this meeting.

For me I need to watch my expenses this year, I will go to Sweden in June, and I'm thinking about the Bayerishe wald meeting in September.

So we may meet twice this year ;)

I'd say there is a good chance for that.

My M3 is coming up on a inspection soon too (10.000km), thought about having that done in Germany, any places close to you that is good with ///M-cars?
since I usually don't drive the car more than 8000km a year it may not be 2012 though.

  • I always deal with the official BMW Niederlassung Düsseldorf. But I never had any car there for repair so i can't say how good they are. But since it is not just a BMW dealership but BMW itself I assume they know their products quite well - unless they are too old ;)

:top: Since it seems that it is the only possibility for me to meet other people with the 8er-nail :devilchilli: in their heads exept here I'd like to meet you for the first time - and Wolf again then...

    Hi Egil,
didn't you think about jumping by ferryboat (Scandlines: Nynäshamn - Ventspils) to Estonia midsummer meeting after the Swedish meeting? It is not very expensive, really, and worth to partecipate. (Terje and family are just registrated for the Baltic part of the tour, sadly not for Sankt Petersburg (Russia)). There are about eight 8er coming from Germany, Norway, Poland and eventually Switzerland.

    Best regards:

Armin, It sounds very tempting, but right now I cant say.

I just bought a new house, so I currently have 800.000 euros in debt before I sell my apartment.
I get the key to the new house February 1st, and hopefully I will sell my apartment on Wednesday.

My new house is brand new... and actually not quite finished in all places.
I have a bathroom and laundry room to furnish, and I need to build a garage, I need to fix the land around the house and the driveway, and the house is not painted on the outside.
I also need many other things, dining table, some living room furniture ect.

At the moment I have no clue how much money I will spend on the new house in the next 6 months, but I know it will be a lot.

I have to go to Sweden, because Pelle has my CSi kit :)

So I really can't commit myself to your trip at the moment, If however my economic situation allow it I may jump on the Baltic part as a last minute entry.
    Hope you understand my situation.

    Zeit wirds ;)
Owning a cafe / restaurant / hotel appears to be some kind of jail to me. Leaving it for more than one weekend is almost impossible, isn't it?:)

:winkwink: Living and working where others used to spend their holiday is not the worst, but you're right when I think about spare time, especially at weekends and in summertime...

But in about 20 years when I'll get my annuity - if Germany is not bancrupt then - there will be lot's of time for other things :grin2:

    Herzliche Grüße/ best regards

Germany is already bankrupt - or corrupt? - or both ?
    Shit. I don't know.
