Im just curious do you think it looks good or should spray the wheels black ?
Blue and Gold - Cool or not ?

Look's good specially since your front lights are yellow
-
Sorry, not my cup-of-tea but its your car so who cares?
Gold makes them look like Compomotive wheels and black will look too ricer.
If you must have gold, then the current colour is a bit "yellow" rather than gold.
Keep to the stock bright silver or the black chrome with polished lips.
I dont like those yellow FTP's either though, should be clear or a dark tint. The yellow makes you look like a member of the caravan club.

I've always thought gold and silver together just don't work together. Maybe you should try painting the whole wheel gold. I have to agree with Gerry about the sidelights.
-
Not, IMHO.

Below is an old picture of a B12 5.0 which had the rims painted. Not my cup but actually not that bling-bling nor hood ratty. Just different
Cheers

I'm with Gerry all the way, never seen any car that looks good with any thing other Than bright alloy wheels
-
If you like to disappear in the crowd go for boring standard silver.
If you think you can afford to stand out go for gold - but a different one IMO and not with the silver lips. Have them polished. -

A surprising statement from a guy who went this very unique design route.
