Who will be the first to identify where these parts go that I have just made for the fun of it?
No clue to the scale of the parts either!

A bit of fun......

A wild stab in the dark: hydraulic unit bleeder screw cap (although I can't see a reason why you'd need two)?

Well, they appear to be sitting on metallic paintwork so that gives an idea of scale, about valve cap size, but they appear to have no threads, can't be sure of the other side, but if it was threaded it would be very shallow.
They don't look like they are hollow all the way through and there is more metal on one side of the hexagon than the other so that suggests an endcap of some kind. The ridging suggests its for hosing but not something that is subject to much pressure as there is not enough to fasten them and if its an endcap for a low pressure hose fitting...why does it have a hexagon nut, so I don't think its that. Infact can't think of anything that needs a spanner but doesn't have a thread.
I therefore conclude its some sort of....widget.....for something. -
Something to do with the wipers?
-
I think they are sitting on a carpet or on some sort of fabric.
(The are some carpet fibers on the right side)
That suggest a rather small scale...As there is no inside threading I would say it's some sort of a cover with no function.
It seem to be too small for a door pin cover.Hmmm, this is a really good one Gerry.

It is quite clearly a one-fag-ashtray
There is even ashes visible

Could they be knobs for the radio controls?

On/Off buttons for the Klingon cloaking device?
Come on now... everyone knows they´re black controls, with black lights lighting black and labelled black on a black background ... or was that the Disaster Area Stuntship?

No, No, No and no.
How about a clue as to size? They come as a pair and they are normally black plastic.

Nope, they are unobtanium for weight reduction on a Battle Cruiser. These are Aluminium.

They are NOT model specific, every E31 has them.

I want to sort out what they are sitting on first, is it carpet or a metallic painted suface?
