Note to Santa
Dear Santa
Please deliver either one of those beautifull 6 Series to my door, or Peters B12
More pictures please to easy my pain
Steve I think the 6 series is local to me as its often in the chiswick stealers car park when I go there or one very similar
For those who didn't hear I couldn't bring my car today as the painter let me down big style, I then asked my wife if I could use here car only to reak the engning by junction 11 on the M40 (car now on the drive and looking in the oil filler cap a can see a broken rocker arm) anyway thats a job for another day!
I did try chaps maybe another meeting soon please and thnks to those of you who offer me a lift
Wow looks amazing!
Looks like it was a great day for all. Sadly I could not attend due to a domestic problem that morning. I really do hope to attend next year
Thanks Steve, I'm glad for everyone the weather held up this year. That's a great way for Gerry not to put any more mileage on the CSI I see....who got the springs?
Just like to say it was a pleasure to meet many of you and thanks to Peter & Seb for organising the 20yr celebratory display - prime position!!! Tony - I can see why your nickname is TallTony!!
My son enjoyed taking my pride and joy up to 140MPH on the test track - I couldn't stop him beaming all the way home. My only complaint would be the total lack of choice amongst the outside caterer's - burgers, burgers or burgers - don't they think we have any imagination of could possibly want something vegetarian???
Anyway - a great day to remember together with the "salmon pink" complection.
Agree on the food, it wasn't good. Great day though and my colour is much more lobster than salmon . I went away depressed though as I have the only rusty 8
Hi everyone.
My very grateful thanks to all those that turned up at the BMW CC show at Gaydon yesterday. We managed a whopping 50 plus 8 series cars, on a fantastic hot summer day, in a word it was perfect. I think more than a few people ended up bright red including me. Pictures should follow from a number of sources. Thank again to everyone who attended it just shows how enthusiastic owners can be about the GREAT e31.
Zitat von NickF;68092Agree on the food, it wasn't good. Great day though
Next time, take the lift up to the museum restaurant;-)Pretty much everything available in there, to suit all sorts
Peter how was the wrench fest (any chance of another soon, so I can attend)
A couple more pictures
Just to add that it was a great day, and fortunately I am now a golden brown
Probably never see so many 8s in the same place in my life again, so it was good to be part of something special.
I need to especially thank Peter and Steve who toiled over my car the previous day and fixed my sunroof - that has never worked properly in the 4 years I've had the car. It is now 'powered by Alpina' (long story) and works flawlessly
Good to see everyone again, and I look forward to doing it all again someday.
A few more to add to the collection.
What a great day, it was great to see so many 8's together.
Thanks, Peter a really excellent day out. First time in the 8 fully loaded with wife and kids - no excuses for not getting out more now!
I aint very good with a camera, and worse still when I try and take panorama shots, but this is what came out..... (bright sunshine meant I couldnt line up the 3 frames properly whilst doing this..... oh well
